A thermometer as a measurement tool that can be used to explain something else, but it can interpreted itself. When the thermometer does not have a scale, we can not get a value in the observation time, this feeling will be directed to the inexplicable existence itself.
On the other hand, in the same environment those non-scale thermometer will point to the metaphor of a complete difference in our common reality.
